FAQ's
Frequently asked questions
1. What types of services do you offer?
We offer a range of non-medical home care services including Socialization and Companionship, Home Care Support Services, and Health and Wellness Services. Our services are designed to meet the unique needs of each client, promoting independence and well-being.
We are able to support clients with certain hands-on personal care tasks, such as ostomy bag care and catheter drainage, provided the Health Care Aide (HCA) or Support Worker has received the appropriate training and has demonstrated competence in performing these tasks safely.
For other forms of medical care, assistance may be available if:
- A regulated nurse has assessed the client and determined the task is appropriate to delegate.
- The HCA or Support Worker carries out the task under the supervision of the nurse, who retains responsibility for the client’s overall care.
If your care needs fall outside of a non-clinical approach, we will work closely with you, your loved ones, and your healthcare team to ensure you receive the appropriate care. We are committed to staying within our scope of practice as non-medical home care providers while advocating for your health, safety, and well-being.
