At Anna Home Care Services, we offer wellness and emotional health support, including short-term, non-medical respite care for older adults and individuals of all ages with special needs or disabilities. Our approach focuses on social connection, emotional well-being, and compassionate companionship.
I have the privilege of working as a wellness counsellor, supporting individuals one-on-one through social care, meaningful interaction, respite, companionship, and basic coaching support. With a big heart and a genuine commitment to care, we strive to support each person with kindness and respect.
Separately, I am affiliated with Unique Minds Therapeutic Services, where I provide general counselling support in an independent professional capacity. If your needs fall outside the scope of older adult, special needs, or disability care, you are welcome to connect with me there instead.
I believe that true care extends beyond meeting physical needs—it’s about being fully present, listening with empathy, and nurturing the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.
With training and experience as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) and certifications as a Health Care Aide, combined with additional education in therapeutic counselling and health and wellness practice, I bring both professionalism and heartfelt compassion into every home and individuals i work with.
Through our Respite Care Services, we provide companionship, grief, and emotional health support for older adults, young adults, and children with disabilities or unique needs—helping individuals and families find comfort, connection, and compassionate care during life’s changing seasons.

Karen Davaz is a compassionate and dedicated health care professional who has been working in the field since 2003. Her journey in caregiving began when she took on the responsibility of caring for her father after he suffered a stroke. This life-changing experience deepened her understanding of the challenges faced by those with health issues and inspired her to become a strong advocate and support system for her autistic son.
Driven by a passion to better serve others, Karen pursued further education in counseling, gaining the skills to support individuals and families through life’s challenges. She strongly believes that everyone, regardless of race, ability, or financial situations, deserves the opportunity to live their happiest and most fulfilling life. Karen has joined the Alberta Health Care Directory. She has ensured that Anna Home Care Services is fully registered and licensed in Edmonton, Alberta, to uphold professional standards and best practices for her clients.
